Huzurnagar bypoll: All set for vote counting tomorrow
All arrangements have been made for the vote counting of Huzurnagar by-election tomorrow. The counting begins at 8 am and the police imposed 144 section at the counting centre.
Around 22 rounds of EVMs have to be counted and 14 tables have been arranged for each round. A micro observer, counting supervisor and counting assistant are deployed for each table.
The results are expected to be released by 2 pm.
As many as 28 candidates are in the fray for the by-election which was necessitated with the resignation of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy following his election to Parliament.
The Congress has fielded Uttam Kumar Reddy's wife N Padmavati Reddy, a former MLA, in the bypoll, while TRS has re-nominated S Saidi Reddy, who lost to Uttam Kumar Reddy in the 2018 Assembly polls.
