Huzurnagar bypoll: Rs 18.49 lakh seized in Suryapet

Around Rs 18.49 lakh cash was seized at Nallabandagudem during a vehicle check conducted in the view of bi-elections in Huzurnagar.

The officials intervened the car of one Tammineni Rajasekhar while he was on his way to Hyderabad and Vijayawada and found the cash with no valid documents.

The cash was handed over to higher officials. Earlier this week, cash and liquor worth Rs 52 lakh was seized from a vehicle and a bind over the case was registered against 54 people.
