Huzurnagar: Make book reading a habit, Shanampudi tells students
Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Huzurnagar MLA Shanampudi Saidi Reddy advised the students to make book reading a habit to enhance their knowledge and to achieve life goals.
On Wednesday, the MLA participated as a chief guest to present prizes to students who emerged as winners in various competitions held during the Library Week celebrations at the Huzurnagar public library in the district.
Addressing the gathering, he advised the students to spend some time daily at the library and read the books available to gain knowledge about new topics besides reading the life histories of eminent leaders, newspapers etc.
"Students must adopt questioning nature by acquiring the required knowledge by reading various books," he underlined. He suggested the students to maintain their surrounding clean in order to keep themselves away from the diseases and to make Huzurnagar a Swachh town.
Stating that there was no substitute for hard work, Shanampudi advised the students to strive with discipline and commitment to reach their life goals and scale new heights.
Meanwhile, he added that CCI has opened a cotton procurement centre at Doctor and Friend Ginning Mill located at Chintalapalem mandal headquarter and advised the local farmers of the mandal to sell their cotton at the CCI procurement centre to get Minimum Support Price for their produce.
