Huzurnagar: Telangana Rashtra Samithi Huzurnagar in-charge and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy stated that TRS was the champion of by-elections and the party candidate Shanampudi Saidi Reddy would win the Huzurnagar seat with 40,000 majority of votes.

Addressing the media in Huzurnagar on Friday, the MLC remembered the Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy's challenge of quitting politics if Congress fails to come to power in 2018 Assembly elections. He called Uttam a power-hungry man and made light of him for fielding his wife Padmavathi for the Huzurnagar seat.

He condemned Uttam's comment on Information Minister KT Rama Rao where the former called the latter a Baccha (child), and advised Uttam to know the age and experience of Rahul Gandhi.

Stating that Congress was a symbol of family rule, he slammed Uttam for talking about dynastic politics.

"Congress with the fear of defeat is making baseless comments on TRS government and its party candidate, he said, adding that Saidi Reddy was a local candidate of Huzurnagar constituency and would work for its development.

Informing that the State government had clearly stated Rs 1 lakh crop loan to farmers will be waived in four instalments, he said the congress-ruling States have failed to take up crop loan waiver.

Party candidate for Huzurnagar bypoll Shanampudi Saidi Reddy and TRS local leaders attended the press meet.
