Hyderabad: 2-day vaccine rollout training from today

Hyderabad: The Telangana government is conducting a two-day training workshop for Covid-19 vaccine roll out in the State. Senior officials from the Health department, World Health Organisation, United Nations among others would be taking different sessions relating to vaccine rollout.

District Medical and Health Officers, Immunisation Officers, Surveillance Officers, Cold Chain Managers etc of all districts would take part in the training that would conducted online through Zoom.

The opening day, December 14, sessions include logistics, planning, vaccine and cold chain, safe injection and waste disposal, briefing on Co-Win software and demonstration.

The second day will have sessions including adverse events following immunisation, monitoring and supervision, advocacy, communication and social mobilisation, media engagement and social media, capacity building of health functionaries, governance mechanism and intersectoral co-ordination, preparation of State timelines etc.
