Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday nabbed Tahsildar Sujatha of Shaikpet, a Revenue Inspector (RI) Nagarjuna Reddy and a Sub-Inspector of Banjara Hills PS, A Ravinder.

According to ACB officials, a complainant who wanted his 4,865 sq yard of land at Banjara Hills to be surveyed by the Shaikpet Tahsildar approached her with a request of surveying his land and also filed a writ petition in the High Court of Telangana for not allowing any outsiders on the land. The said land was purchased by the father of the complainant in 1969 and today it values at around Rs 40 crores.

So the complainant wanted to make some developments on the land and with this intention he wanted his land to be surveyed by the Tahsildar. But the Tahsildar of Shaikpet, Sujata, turned greedy upon witnessing such a huge land and hatched a conspiracy along with the RI, said the officials of ACB.

When the complainant approached the Tahsildar for completing his work, she kept on delaying it. But finally, she informed the complainant to meet the RI and when the complainant met the RI he demanded an amount of Rs 30 lakhs for completing the work. As the complainant resisted to pay such an amount, the RI colluded with the SI of Banjara Hills PS and lodged a case against him by mentioning that the said complainant is encroaching the land.
