Hyderabad: 3 swine flu suspected cases admitted in Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad: Three patients including a one-and-half month old baby are being treated for the deadly swine flu in Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday.

The 45-day baby girl, whose parents live in Fathimangar, was admitted to Gandhi two days ago with high fever and cold. The swine flu test was done on her which turnout positive and she is being treated in the pediatric ICU at present.

Two other patients, a 68-year-old female from Chandrayanagutta and a 35-year male from Mahbubnagar had also tested positive and are being treated in the isolation ward.

According to hospital doctors, from January this year, eight patients were admitted with swine flu symptoms out of which five of them fully recovered and were discharged.

Meanwhile, another three swine flu suspected cases were admitted in Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday.

Their samples were taken and sent to the lab and reports are awaited.
