Hyderabad: Accused in MRO Vijaya Reddy murder case succumbs to burn injuries

Kurra Suresh, accused in MRO Vijaya Reddy murder case succumbed to serious burn injuries today around 3.30 pm at Osmania General Hospital.

Suresh who suffered 60 per cent burn injuries when he set the MRO on fire was admitted to Apollo DRDO hospital. However, he was later shifted to OGH where he died while undergoing treatment. He was a resident of Gowrelli village of Abdullapurmet mandal.

After the incident, Suresh ran out of the Tahsildar's office and collapsed in front of the police station. The police shifted him to a nearby hospital in Hayathnagar and then moved to Apollo DRDO after the first aid.

The incident which has sent shock waves across the state has claimed three lives -- the MRO Vijaya Reddy, her driver Gurunatham and the accused Suresh. Another Tahsildar's attender Chandraiah who was also injured while undergoing treatment.
