Another case booked against PVP

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Monday booked a case against film producer Prasad V Potluri famously known as PVP. But this time, he was not booked for threatening someone rather he was booked for letting his dogs loose on the cops who went to his residence for serving notice.

According to Banjara Hills police, four cops went to his residence on Monday for serving notice regarding the case which was booked against him last week.

However when the cops D Harish Reddy, Sub-inspector of Banjara Hills police station, accompanied by detective inspector Ravi Kumar, Sub-inspector P Dali Naidu, and home guard Vasudeva Rao visited the residence of the producer, it was locked from inside.

N Kalinga Rao, Inspector of Banjara Hills noted, "When the SI D. Harish Reddy informed a person to summon PVP the person went inside and came out saying that nobody was allowed inside.

The team then tried to enter through the gate, but they were caught in a rude shock as PVP and his wife let lose 5 dogs on them as they were trying to enter through the gate."

They had to somehow rescue themselves and fled the scene. However after coming back to PS, the team narrated the entire incident. So we have booked the producer, his wife and their associate under section 353 of IPC.

A case against the producer was filed last week by his neighbour alleging that the producer had threatened him not to carry out any construction activities.

After which, the police had summoned the producer and instructed him not to indulge in any unlawful activities and when the team of cops went to serve the notice to him, he attempted another unlawful activity, said the Inspector.
