Gives call to create awareness on Coronavirus and avoid use of plastic

Madhapur: At the instance of Serilingampally MLA and Government Whip Arekapudi Gandhi, social activists Muppa Subbayya and Vasili Chandrashekar Prasad on Tuesday took up 'Swachh Hyderabad' amd 'Swachh Serilingampally' programme in the government school here. They created awareness among the students on Coronavirus and banning the use of plastic items and distributed jute bags to them.

Addressing the gathering, Gandhi hailed the programme aimed at helping protect environment for future generations. He congratulated the initiative of the social activists and called for banning plastic items for saving the environment. He called upon people to keep their surrounding clean and conserve water.

Gandhi advised people to become aware that use of plastic would result in ailments which can pose a threat to their very existence. Hence, he said, "there is a need for everyone to become alert and reduce the use of plastic, thus ensuring protection of the environment." He said if the awareness was created in students there would be no future problems.

Referring to the precautions to be taken on the spread of Coronavirus, he advocated the use of Homeo medicine Arsenikam Albam 30, avoidance of handshakes and rubbing of nose, regular washing of hands and face. Those present at the programme included Madhapur TRS division president Y Srinivas Yadav, party leaders Venkatesh Yadav, Raju Yadav, Gangaram Yadav, Narendra Prasad, school headmaster Basavalinga, teachers Surya Bhavani, Srinivas Rao, Kishtayya, Mallikarjun, Motilal, Krishna, Suvarna, Sweta, Manga, Afina Begum, Madusudhan Reddy, Sridhar Reddy, Gopal and Satyanarayana.
