Hyderabad: Attention diversion gang arrested

Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police on Wednesday arrested four persons for diverting the attention of a person and stealing his property.

According to police, the gang committed theft of 25 tons of poly propylene (plastic moulding raw material) by approaching the complainant luring him with their words. The gang members approached the owner of a factory and behaved as if they wanted to order huge quantities of plastic.

As the owner was busy in showing the gang about the process of making plastic and other products made, the accused members fled the scene along with the material. Based on a complaint lodged by the factory owner,
