Hyderabad: Avail of discount in property tax

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar on Tuesday called upon everyone to avail the five per cent rebate on property tax for the year 2020-21. He said the early bird scheme will end on May 31.

"Earlier the scheme was only for residential properties with ceiling of Rs 30,000. On the representatives received from various sections, the government extended the benefit to the Commercials and Semi- Commercial properties too. Citizens can pay property tax through online, e-seva centers, Citizens Service Centers or to Bill Collectors," the Commissioner added.

Further, the Commissioner appealed to the IT Companies, multi-level malls, star hotels and big business establishments to utilise the opportunity.
