Hyderabad: Awareness spread on Coronavirus

Bagh Lingamapally: An awareness programme was conducted at the minority girls Gurukul High School here on Friday to sensitise students on the preventive measures to be taken to prevent spread of Coronavirus.

Ramnagar division corporator V Srinivas Reddy distributed free masks to students on the occasion. He advised them to remain alert to the virus and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the virus. Though the state government has been taking several measures to prevent spread of the virus, everyone should take proper precautions such as washing hands frequently, wearing masks and avoiding public gatherings.

Later, the corporator cut a cake celebrating the birthday of former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha, along with school students. He explained to the students the role played by Kavitha in promoting Telangana culture and Bathukamma festival. Ramnagar TRS women president Sampurna, general secretary Kalpana, Vivek, Kiran, Shyam, Wahid Ali and others attended the programme.
