Hyderabad: Azaan International School felicitates 'Huffaz'

Students of the Azaan International School who completed the Hifz e Quran course were felicitated on Sunday

Mehdipatnam: Students of the Azaan International School who completed the Hifz e Quran course were felicitated on Sunday morning at school campus in Tolichowki.

Huffaz is terminology given to those who memorize a lot of Hadeeth and are knowledgeable in this science. That is why Imam Ahmed, Bukhari, Muslim and others were considered to be Huffaz.

Students pursuing the Hifz course are trained to master the memorisation of Holy Quran, in all its entirety. Those who have successfully memorised the Quran are referred as Huffaz (meaning: memorisers of holy Qur'an).

In recognition of their achievements, Maulana Mohammad Abdul Qawi presented the huffaz with a certificate and tied turbans in the presence of eminent islamic scholars and parents during the Dastar Bandi event at school campus on Sunday.

Special supplications were made by Maulana Shah Jamaal ur Rahman for the success of these students. Jamaat e Islami Hind President Hamid Mohammad Khan, Mufti Tajammul Hussain, Maulana Burhanuddin Qasmi, Gautam Omer addressed the gathering on this occasion.

Chairman Azaan Group of Institutions Dr Yousuf Azam congratulated the parents of these students and staff on this occasion. Mohammed Arshad also spoke.
