Hyderabad: Begum Bazar Kirana dealers to shut shops till tomorrow
Begum Bazar: The Hyderabad Kirana Merchants Association has decided to shut down the market in Begum Bazar till March 24 in the wake of the Coronavirus threat.
The Association convened a general body meeting of its members at its office on Saturday. The Association president Lakshminarayan Rathi talked on the threats of the spread of Coronavirus worldwide and explained about the precautions to be taken. He said the members who had supported 'Janta Curfew' held discussions and decided to shut the shops for three days from Sunday to Tuesday.
Association Secretary Mahesh Gupta called upon the shopkeepers to take precautions and also make others aware about the use of sanitisers. The Association supplied masks to the shopkeepers in the market. Association Joint Secretary Avinash Devda was also present.
