Following this, in his letter, the BJP MP said that at a time when the Covid-19's impact on the collective and the individual psyche of the people is enormous and there are two major issues concerning the decision taken by the university to go ahead with the examiantions, he said.

Reminding the reasons for the State government to differ examinations following the suggestions of the State High Court, he said, "The students are not in a sound emotional frame due to the all-pervasive disruption caused by Covid-19. Further, owing to lockdown, hostel and libraries were closed which hampered the preparation for the exam," he added. That apart, in his letter Sanjay Kumar informed the VC of the university pointing out that the deadly coronavirus has been spreading very fast as State government itself is clueless about handling the crises. Further, there are still many containment zones in many spots of Telangana where there are restrictions imposed by the government on the movement of people. Many students who have to come from the containment zones would not be in a position to attend the examiantions.
