Hyderabad: BJP leader Jnanendra Prasad conducts youth parliament programme
Serilingampally: State BJP Executive Committee member Jnanendra Prasad on Thursday organised a youth parliament programme at Prabhat Plaza, Chandanagar, as part of the party's efforts to enable youth to get awareness on every law adopted by the Centre, under the leadership of Nehru Yuva Kendra trainer Kumar Yadav.
In his address, Prasad advised youth to get awareness on laws introduced by the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asserted that there was no need for any fears on the recently formulated Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), while alleging that some vested interests were sending wrong signals to people, generating insecurity among them.
Prasad described such efforts as 'wrong'. The BJP leader pointed out that every law passed by Parliament was constitutionally valid and that every enactment was intended keeping in view the country's people. Hence, he stressed, youth should become aware of this and take to the notice of people.
Among the BJP leaders present at the programme were Venkat Prasad, Srilata, Naveen, Manikanta and Rajesh.
