Hyderabad: Call for active role of Padmashalis in politics
Bagh Lingampally: The president of Telangana Padmashali Association, Boora Mallesham urged Padmashalis to take active participation in state politics. He was speaking at the association's executive meeting here at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram on Sunday. The working president of the association, D Praveen Kumar, general secretary Machu Sudhakar and others attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Mallesham urged the members of the community to excel in both financial and political sectors. He promised to strive for development of the community and strengthening of the association. He cautioned the members of association by stating that beware of some elements within the state association, who were sowing seeds of dissension in an undemocratic manner. He announced that the association would tour the state and strive for addressing issues of the community.
Later, Mallesham felicitated Padmashali municipal chairmans and councilors who won in the recently held urban local body elections.
