Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar says state ready to deal with any eventuality
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, on Wednesday informed the Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba that the State government is ready to deal any eventuality in containment of the deadly coronavirus.
The government has already made arrangements to provide medical treatment to one lakh patients at one go, Somesh Kumar said while attending a video conference held by the Cabinet Secretary.
State officials also said that the government was working on various guidelines issued by the Centre from time to time and is making all the arrangements to control the virus, particularly in the containment zones of the State. The situation is under control and the government is well prepared with required PPE kits, masks, testing kits, beds, ventilators and hospitals to deal with up to one lakh cases at one go, in the State. Hyderabad District Collector Swetha Mohanty and other officials also participated.
