Hyderabad: CITU Chalo Collectorate on March 5
Ameenpur: Sangareddy district CITU general secretary K Rajayya on Wednesday called for making successful the 'Chalo Collectorate' protest programme, followed by dharna, on March 5 to find solutions to the problems facing VROs. He is honorary president of the District VROs Association.
Speaking after submitting a representation to the Ameepur superintendent, he pressed for solving the problems. Rajayya listed the VROs' demands such as payment of Rs.21,000 as minimum wage, disbursal of salaries on the first of every month, implementation of ESI and PF cover, provision of job security, coverage of accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh.
The CITU leaders who accompanied Rajayya included district leaders Nageswar Rao, association representatives Ravi, Venkanna Babu, Venkatesh.
