Hyderabad: Congress party leaders demand unemployment allowance and allotment of 2 BHK houses

Patancheru: The Congress party leaders and activists on Tuesday staged a demonstration near B R Ambedkar statue here demanding payment of unemployment allowance and allotment of 2 BHK houses to people, and to protest the arrest of Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy.

Addressing the protestors, local corporator Shankar Yadav criticised the TRS rule. He said during the previous Congress and TDP rules no leaders were arrested. Among the leaders present at the protest were Godavari Anji Reddy, TPCC women's wing secretary, Goka Sashikala Yadava Reddy, INTUC district president Kolkuri Narsimha Reddy and minority wing leader Habeeb.
