Hyderabad: Covid 19 awareness programme conducted at ZPHS

• Corporator Raju says no need for panic as govt taking all measures

• School students take out a rally and distribute pamphlets on virus

Hyderanagar: Local Corporator Janakirama Raju on Tuesday attended an awareness programme on Coronavirus in ZP High School at Nizampet Main Road. The students took out a rally from the school through the main streets and distributed pamphlets.

Addressing the participants, Raju stated that the rally was organised to dispel fears among the public with regard to the virus. He pointed out that the government was taking all required steps to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and that there was no need for people to fear. He suggested to residents to regularly wash hands as part of precautions.

The corporator urged the students to enlighten their families on the preventive measures they need to take to ward off the virus. Among those present at the programme were health department officials Dr.Sivakumar, A Mamatamma,CHO, Yadagiri,MPHS ,Naseem, Roja, health assistant, Rama Devi, Jyoti, Lata, Raju, Santosh, Bhagyalakshmi, Sabida Begum, teachers Y Rajkumar, G Yadagiri, Yellamma, Anganwadi teacher, Narsimha, entomology supervisor, Ward mentors Srikanth, Quadeer, Area Committee mentors Sheshayya, TRS party division vice-president Rammohan Raju, Venkat Rao, Yasin, Rasheed, Faiz and Ramesh.
