Hyderabad: Covid awareness programme held at JNTU-H college

JNTU: An awareness programme and a rally on Coronavirus were organised in JNTU-H College of Engineering on Friday under the leadership of NSS Programme Officer Prof A Balram Naik. University In-charge Registrar Prof A Govardhan was the chief guest of the event which was launched by In-charge Principal Prof. G N Srinivas.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Govardhan stressed the importance of observing personal hygiene including washing of hands, to ward off the threat of the virus. He called for cleanliness in the college and hostels, while pointing out that masks and sanitary kits were available in the university health centre for both students and staff.

Prof. Srinivas advised the students to create awareness on the virus symptoms in their surrounding areas. He stressed that Coronavirus was not that dangerous, as it can be checked by taking the necessary precautions.

Professors of various departments, including P Shravan, Sridevi, Anita Shila, A V S S K Gupta, Anjaneya Prasad, Ramji, Ramesh Chandra, P D Dilip, Hajya, Ravi, Student Coordinators Mohan Krishna, Bhanu Prakash, Prashanth, Arvind Babu, Arthi Rathod, Choudeswari, Bhavana took part in the rally.
