Hyderabad: CP Anjani Kumar asks citizens to stay indoors

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar on Friday urged the citizens through an audio message that everyone should stay indoors and shall not venture out if not required.

The audio message was circulated by the commissioner's office in different Whatsapp groups.

The police chief stated that, today the entire world is fighting the deadly virus Covid-19 and it is the right time for us to pull up our socks and prepare ourselves by taking adequate precautions.

He further noted, "Different departments of city, such as police, GHMC, Collectorate are collectively trying hard to save the city from deadly virus.

Every effort is being made from the government to save the State from Covid-19." The mistakes which Italy and Spain have done should be avoided by our state.

Despite knowing that the virus is spreading fast, the citizens of Italy and Spain did not take preventive measures and continued with their social, cultural and religious gatherings.
