Hyderabad CP Mahesh Bhagwat orders suspension of SI over misconduct

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Mahesh Bhagwat, on Thursday ordered for the suspension of SI of Chaitanyapuri D Narsaiah for his unruly behaviour with migrant workers.

The SI misbehaved with the migrant workers one week ago who came to the PS for collecting the passes. His misbehavior was also caught on the camera and has gone viral.

However, the Commissioner ordered for his suspension on Thursday and asked the DCP of LB Nagar, Sunpreet Singh to submit a detailed report about the incident.

Interacting with the media, the officer noted, "The behaviour of SI was totally condemnable and such attitude has given a bad reputation to the entire department.

I have ordered the DCP to enquire into the incident thoroughly and once I receive the report action will be taken. Moreover, there were complaints regarding the SI in past. All those complaints will now be examined."
