Hyderabad CP warns TVV against misleading youth
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday warned frontal organisations of CPI (Maoist) not to mislead innocent youth to the path of violence.
Commissioner speaking to the media said Telangana Vidhyarthi Vedika (TVV) is a hardcore frontal organisation of CPI (Maoist), which is preaching violence.
He said the frontal organisations like TVV, which is a banned organisation, have a long history of associations with Maoist groups. CPI (Maoist) with the help of other frontal organisations is trying to penetrate into all the professional groups like student, professors, women, minority etc.
Commissioner also said, TVV was also running a magazine in the name of 'Student March', which preaches the ideology of communism. Persons related to Virasam, which is banned organisation contributes article to this magazine.
For all these banned organisations 'Telangana Praja Front' is the umbrella organisation, besides 'Telangana Democratic Forum', which are misleading the general public.
The members of TVV are President Maddileti, General Secretary Menchu Sandeep, Vemula Anudeep and others.
The main objectives of these persons are to influence students towards their motto. "It is our responsibility to thwart any such illegal activity against State, Country and Democracy," the Commissioner said.
He said Special police teams seized many incriminating materials during the searches at Gadwal and Mahbubnagar.
