Hyderabad: Dedicated 108 ambulance services rolled out

Hyderabad: Although no new positive Covid-19 case has come to light in the last few days, the rush of suspected cases continues in Gandhi Hospital. On Saturday, 19 suspected cases were reported in Gandhi hospital on Saturday.

These are among the 32 self-reported passengers who approached the health authorities. The remaining 13, who were asymtomatic, were put under isolation.

Meanwhile, four foreign nationals, including 2 from Oman and one each from China and Uzbekistan have come under the scanner of the health department on Saturday.

Of the 19 samples taken on Saturday, five have come negative in the evening. With this the number of samples tested so far touched 247, out of which 232 have come out negative while another 14 are pending while only one person tested positive.

Meanwhile, the 108 emergency services have dedicated few ambulances with technician and driver equipped with protective gear to shift the virus suspected cases to Gandhi and Fever hospitals. These ambulances would be kept near airport and other places if required.

On the other hand, an awareness session on Covid-19 and precautions to be taken was conducted by the health department at State Human Rights Commission Office in which chairman, members and staff participated.
