Hyderabad: Drainage clearance tools handed over to HMWSSB in Malkajgiri

Malkajgiri: Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao formally handed over the vehicles and equipment required for clearing drainage to Water Board Sainkpuri on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he urged Jalamandali officials to take responsibility of addressing issues related to drainage in the constituency as sewerage and drainage issues come under its purview. Recently, a decision was taken by the State government to hand over sewerage and drainage maintenance to Jalamandali, from municipalities.

Water Board GM Sunil Kumar assured that Jalamandali would implement the government's decision effectively. He urged people to bring to their notice any issue related to sewerage and drainage which would be addressed promptly.

Jalamandali officials Bhaskar, Rajini, Ramakrishna, Srivani, corporators Sridevi, Jagadish Goud, Raj Jithendra Nath, TRS leaders Prem Kumar, Ravula Anjaiah, Pitla Srinivas, Anil, Kishore Goud, Lakshmikanth Reddy, ESR Prasad, Mohan Yadav, M Jagadish Goud, Shankar Rao and others attended the programme.
