Hyderabad: Dream big & redesign your own path, says ASCI chief Padmanabhaiah
Banjara Hills: "Unless one takes initiative and charts out his or her own course of action, one would not succeed. Dream big and redesign your own path," said K Padmanabhaiah, chairman, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and former Union Home Secretary here on Friday. He was speaking at the first annual inter-college management fest 'Inara Fiesta' organised by the first batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) students at ASCI.
The two-day fest focuses on management techniques, leadership skills, teamwork, and coordination. Padmanabhaiah exhorted students to master the art of coordination and work as a team.
In the inaugural edition, 30 management and degree colleges across Hyderabad are participating.
Dr SK Pattanayak, Director-General, ASCI and former Union Agriculture Secretary wished the organisers to take the event forward and wished it would become an annual feature. "This is a practical experience on how things should be done. On occasions like this, we get to know how to manage things as that's what we teach here," he added further.
The Fest consists of various management events such as ASCI economic forum, panel discussion, cultural events, speeches by the eminent industry leaders and many more. The event also includes cultural events hosted by actors Vishwak Sen and Akash Puri.
