Hyderabad: Drunken man attacks two youth in Uppal

A man in an inebriated state attacked two persons with a sickle under Uppal police station limits in the wee hours on Friday.

The incident occurred at Dharmapuri colony in Uppal and the victims were identified as Chiranjeevi and Tarun. The accused, identified as Dayakar is learned to have intercepted the bike of the victims' and attacked them.

Locals shifted the victims to a hospital. Chiranjeevi's condition is stated to be critical while Tarun who also sustained serious injuries is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the police registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused who had gone absconding.
