Hyderabad: Entry banned inside Telangana secretariat

With the shift of various departments to BRK Bhavan and other places in Hyderabad, the government on Monday issued orders to ban entry inside the secretariat.

In case of shifting of any pending files and furniture, the officials should take permission from the higher authorities seeking entry into the secretariat. The officials are advised to render their duties from BRK Bhavan from today.

The Telangana secretariat was closed on Sunday with the officials locking the entry gates.

The Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao has laid the foundation for the construction of the new secretariat in July 2019 as the majority of the buildings are under dilapidate state.
