Hyderabad: Floral tributes paid to poet Mollamamba at her jayanti

Hafeezpet: Floral tributes were paid to the 16th century poet Mollamamba at her jayanti organised by the Hafeezpet Kummara Sangham at Kummarabasti village. The sangham leaders praised Mollamamba, who was born in a Kummari family, for writing the famous 'Dwipada Ramayanam' and who was well-known during the King Krishna Devaraya's rule.

Among those present were honorary president of the sangham Kummari Yadayya, representatives Swamy, Sattayya, president K Venkatesh, general secretary K Jithender, vice-president K Mahesh, treasurer K Srisailam, secretary Sandapet Babu, members Sandapet Suresh, Raju, Srikanth, Uday, Ganesh, Sai and Bharath.C
