Hyderabad: Free medical camp held at old age home in Malkajgiri

Malkajgiri: Akshara Koumudhi Seva Samstha and Adarana Seva Samstha jointly organised a free medical camp at Adarana old age home located at RK Nagar on Sunday. Noted doctor and president of Adarana Seva Samstha Nageshwar Rao provided medical consultation and free medical tests to 25 senior citizens living in the old age home and distributed free medicines. He also conducted a health awareness session and gave tips for better health. He suggested a few physical exercise tips for enhancing physical endurance and mental reinvigoration among senior citizens on the occasion.

Tulasi Venkata Ramanacharyulu, president of Akshara Koumidhi Seva Samstha, said serving orphans and senior citizens was equal to serving god. He explained about various social and charitable initiatives taken up by the organisation. As part social service activities, the organisation always took care of senior citizens who were suffering from severe health issues.

Among those who were present on the occasion were general secretary of Akshara Koumudhi Murthy Sridevi, Talluri Venkat Krishna, Madhavi, Tulasi, Vijayalakshmi, G Rama Vaishnavi, Sujatha, Varadarajulu, old age home manager Subba Rao and others.
