Hyderabad: Gandhi and Lincoln book launched by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan

Nampally: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan launched a book, 'Gandhi and Lincoln,' written by Chandrashekar Kattipalli at Fapsi Auditorium on Wednesday, along with former Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath.

Addressing a meeting on the occasion, the Governor said that Mahatma Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln shared same principles and congratulated the writer of the book for expounding the principles and aspirations of both the leaders in a book. She asked youth to strive for fulfilling aspirations of two great leaders. She also urged parents to instill patriotic feelings among their children right from childhood. She praised the writer's efforts to provide facts without sensationalizing them in an age where only sensations issues become viral. She expressed happiness at the opportunity to launch the book related to an American President when US President Trump just concluded a historic visit to India.
