Hyderabad: GHMC announces skill development courses

Santosh Nagar: As part of the Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) programme, the GHMC has decided to organise Employment Skill and Training Programme (ESTP) for unemployed youth. It has invited applications in collaboration with the agencies engaged in skill development. According to the organisers, unemployed youth will be trained for free and later they also are guided in job placements under the ESTP. The eligible youth in the age group from 18 to 30 years with qualifications SSC, Intermediate or Degree are eligible to apply for the courses.

The courses include customer care executive, computer operator, computer hardware, animation, software developer, domestic voice, artificial intelligence, data analyst, electrician, land surveyors, stores in-charge, in-stores promoters etc. The training will be provided by Bhagyanagar Welfare Society, IPSS and National Academy of Construction. The selection of the applicants is based on 'first come first serve basis, organisers said.
