Hyderabad: Help city gets top ratings in My City My Pride index

Hyderabad: The GHMC Commissioner, D S Lokesh Kumar, has appealed to the denizens to actively participate in the survey being conducted by the Government of India on ease of living index, to get better ranking for the city from 3rd rank to 1st rank. 'My City My Pride' citizens survey will continue up to 29th February, he informed and urged the citizens to give positive feedback in the survey to get better ranking.

It may be recalled that as part of the Ease of Living Index Assessment, a Citizen Perception Survey is being conducted on behalf of the Ministry. This is a very important component of the assessment exercise as it will help in directly capturing perception of citizens with respect to quality of life in their cities. This survey, which is being administered both online and offline, commenced on January 16 and will continue till the end of February.

The Government of India has announced data collection exercise for ease of living index and Municipal Performance index 2019, in 100 smart cities and 14 Amruth cities having more than 10 lakh population.

The survey will be conducted on the following parameters: 1. citizens living standards; 2. Basic amenities; 3. Health Care; 4. Education; 5. Technology; 6. Environment; 7. Transport; 8. Employment; 9. House Rent; 10. Sanitation; 11. Drinking Water; 12. Security; 13. Emergency Services; 14. Women's Safety; 15. Recreation; 16. Banking and ATM facility; and, 17. Electricity Supply etc.,

"Rate your city – share your views: your feedback is very valuable, it brings change to our Hyderabad," thus appealed the Commissioner. Investments economic development and job opportunities will improve on account of best ranking.
