Hyderabad: High Court gives green signal to MBBS, BDS counselling
The Telangana High Court on Monday gave a green signal to the admissions into medical courses and dismissed the petition filed by students over reservation quota in MBBS, BDS counselling.
The petition stated that the colleges are filling up the seats of reservation quota in the first and then through open category causing injustice to the students. "The Kaloji University which is holding the recruitment process is violating the rules," the petition said.
The court which dealt with the case stayed the second counselling then. However, after hearing the arguments of the varsity, the court dismissed the plea stating that they will not intervene in the counselling process as it would lead to the delay in the commencement of classes.
A notification of the second counselling will be released by the varsity soon.
