Hyderabad: Government High school sought in Bholakpur
Musheerabad: School management committee and parents committee of government primary school at Mekalamandi, Bholakpur, appealed to the state government to establish a government high school in Bholakpur. On Thursday, a resolution in this regard was passed in the school management committee held at the school.
Speaking on the occasion, the president of HUJ city unit Chandrashekhar said the development of the society can be made possible with proper education. Explaining the need for a high school in the area, he said that the area is mostly inhabited by poor and middle-class people who cannot afford expensive education.
Parents who attended the meeting said that there were no high schools nearby and their children have to go to walk long distances and cross main road to go to the nearby high school.
Headmaster of the school Mallikarjun Reddy urged the government to relocate a high school in the area for the benefit of local children and parents. To achieve their demand, they formed a committee for achieving a high school, comprising locals and parents of school students, he said. The principal said that the committee was planning to meet prominent leaders and ministers and district education officer shortly.
