Hyderabad: JNTU-H students want canteen re-opened

JNTU: Leaders of student organisations in JNTU-H on Tuesday demanded that immediate steps be taken to re-open at earliest the closed university canteen.
In a representation submitted to Professor and Chief Engineer, Dr B Dean Kumar, they stated that the canteen was closed a few months back because of non-observance of standards and quality. The leaders demanded that the canteen be given to contractors who maintain standards and give credence to quality.
Among the leaders present on the occasion were JNTU JAC state coordinator Eravalli Jagan, president Mohan Krishna, general secretary Kannam Poornachandar, Sandeep of OBCF, its state vice-president Bhanu Prakash, Mahesh Naidu (NSUI) and Naresh (PDSU).
