Hyderabad: KBR Park Walkers Association seeks open gym

Hyderabad: KBR (Nature)Park Walkers Association urged the State government to set up open gyms near KBR Park for the benefit of walkers in the vicinity.

The association recently held its annual meeting in which Gutha Sukender Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Legislative Council, took part as chief guest. Association felicitated him.

Speaking on the occasion, N Jaiveer Reddy, president of the association, sought open gyms in KBR Park area for the benefit of walkers. "Such an initiative will benefit the walkers here," he said.

In his speech, Sukender Reddy he underlined the need for people to undertake regular walking and practice yoga to be fit, hale and healthy. "Our government is keen on popularise walking and yoga in rural areas," Reddy said.

A Vijaya Kumar, association's General Secretary, G Narasimha Rao, Senior Vice President and others took part in the meeting.
