Hyderabad: KCR blackmailed Ministers, MLAs, charges Komatireddy

Hyderabad: Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao blackmailed his own Cabinet Ministers and the ruling party MLAs even before the release of the municipal election notification.

He also alleged that the Ministers and TRS MLAs had used their ill-gotten money to threaten rival party leaders during the municipal polls. Addressing the media, he alleged that the ruling party leaders had bagged the Yadagirigutta municipality by using the ex-officio member vote.

Although they got majority in Adibhatla municipality, the ruling party leaders took away their party councilor and made him the municipal chairman. He alleged that the party councilor from Pedda Amberpet was poached by the ruling party leaders.

He also alleged that the CPM councilors were bought by the ruling TRS party leaders in Choutuppal. Komitireddy alleged that he had not seen such a pathetic elections during the last 25 years. He alleged that the police behaved crueler than the Razakars.

Targeting TRS working president KT Rama Rao, he asked if the former was not ashamed of the fact that he had retracted from his statement of not allowing the rebel leaders and allowing the rebels into the party fold.

He alleged that TRS leaders had cheated 74 year old Narayana Reddy by not making him the municipal chairperson. He alleged that the father and son duo of Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao and Minister KT Rama Rao were behaving in a shameless manner.

He warned the two leaders that they would not leave them and would expose them in the public court.
