Hyderabad: KCR's Tolichowki theatric was a scripted drama says Krishna Saagar Rao
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao on Friday said that CM KCR's theatrics reached a new peak at Tolichowki on Thursday when a scripted drama was enacted for a singular objective of ensuring minority votes in GHMC elections.
In a statement on Friday, he said that BJP considers CM has enacted a C-grade script produced and directed by himself personally, in a desperate attempt to over-appease the Muslim voters in the city.
"KCR since assuming the office of the Chief Minister in 2014, is infamous for his inaccessibility to his Council of Ministers, MLAs, party leaders, Opposition leaders, leave alone the common people," he said.
BJP asks people to question, how did he suddenly become so sympathetic to an old Muslim man on the street, especially while he was in a high-speed convoy? Does CM KCR consider Hyderabad voters are downright foolish not to understand his theatrics?
While there are innumerable instances to quote, BJP wonders what happened to CM KCR's empathy when over 57 pilgrims died in an unprecedented accident at Kondagattu a few years ago and more recently when over 30 Hindu homes and 50 vehicles were burnt down by an unruly rioting mob led by MIM leaders?
KCR has not even condemned the incident, leave alone visiting them or assuring them security.
The selective empathy of the TRS chief to Muslims and especially before any election season has become a shameless consistent pattern.
Tolichowki drama exposes the lowest level of political and communal pandering practiced by CM KCR and his party TRS.
"BJP understands his petty political gimmicks and cheap theatrics. However, BJP wants the voters of Telangana to understand the same and teach TRS a lesson in the GHMC elections," he said.
