Hyderabad: Kidnapped fish trader found murdered
Hyderabad: A fish trader's body was found in a gunny bag in a penthouse at Jawaharnagar under Jubilee Hills police station limits on Tuesday night. The deceased identified as P Ramesh (55) was kidnapped by unidentified assailants two days ago under SR Nagar police station limits.
According to police, two days ago the family members of Ramesh complained to police that he was missing and later informed SR Nagar police that they got call from the kidnappers threatening them that if they did not give Rs 90 lakh to them till Tuesday morning they would kill him.
On receipt of information, the police formed teams to trace the person and took up the investigation based on tracking the phone call from the kidnappers.
When the Jubilee Hills police found a dead body in the gunny bag in a penthouse of a building in Jubilee Hills they identified the body as Ramesh.
The kidnappers tied the hands and legs of the trader and left the body in a gunny bag. Since the body was decomposed completely police were suspecting that the kidnappers after killing him called his family members and demanded money from them.
Police have formed 6 teams to identify and nab the kidnappers. They are also investigating the case from all angles by suspecting the previous enmity and financial disputes of the deceased with others.
