Hyderabad: King Koti Hospital head tests coronavirus positive

Hyderabad: Corona health warriors who are in the frontline duties in Telangana State hospitals continue to get infected with the deadly virus.

King Koti Hospital Superintendent (in-charge) Dr Shankar, who was in thick of things for the last two months after the hospital was made the Corona outpatient hospital, has tested positive. DMHO, Hyderabad Dr Venkati was also found to be infected with the virus. Both have mild symptoms and were advised home isolation.

After Corona expert committee member Dr Gangadhar tested positive, senior officials including Director of Medical Education, Director of Health and TSMSIDC Director went for swab testing and all their reports came out negative. Meanwhile, the number of Corona infected in NIMS, Panjagutta continues to rise. As on Wednesday, 66 including 26 doctors and 40 medical staff have tested positive.
