Venkat Reddy said he had also thanked the Union Minister and garlanded him for sanctioning another Rs 375 crore for expansion of the NH 65. He said as the DPR of the project was not yet ready, he urged Gadkari to issue orders for preparation of the DPR at the earliest.
He also said although the highway between Kothagudem and Hyderabad has been recognised as a national highway by covering areas like Valigonda, Torrur, Nellikuduru, Mahabubabad and Yellandu, the maintenance of the road was not good due to negligence of the officials concerned.
