Hyderabad: Telangana minister for IT and municipal affairs KT Rama Rao called upon town planning officials to get ready for the implementation of TS-bPass, a state government's initiative to simplify building permissions.

Speaking at a meeting held with GHMC, HMDA and DTCP town planning officials held here at Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute on Thursday, KT Rama Rao said that TS-bPass which would be started from March on experimental basis, will be implemented on full scale from April 2 in 141 municipalities, municipal corporations and six urban development centres. While TS-iPass would be used for giving 35 different types of industrial permissions, TS-bPass would be used for giving building permissions from fire services, electricity, traffic and planning departments in a smooth and simplified manner, he said. Officials would be made for delay in giving permissions, he said. To overcome the shortage of personnel in town planning department, outsourcing employees would be used on temporary basis until permanent staff were recruited through TSPSC, he said.
