Hyderabad: KTR asks officials to expedite construction of double bedroom houses

Hyderabad: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao on Wednesday reviewed the construction of double bedroom houses in the city.

Minister Mahmood Ali, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mallareddy, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, GHMC commissioner Lokesh Kumar, Municipal department chief secretary Arvind Kumar attended the meeting which held at MCHRD.

The minister said that 80 per cent construction of the double bedroom houses was completed at several areas and some houses were already handed over to the beneficiaries. The construction of the houses will be completed soon and handed over the people, KTR said.

He asked the officials to expedite the construction work of double bedroom houses, the housing project created by the Telangana government to make the city of Hyderabad a slum-free.
