Hyderabad: KTR assures to provide mopeds to Gouds

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister KT Rama Rao promised to give mopeds to the Gouds across the state. However, funds will be allocated next year for the provision of mopeds.

KT Rama Rao held a public meeting at Necklace Road on Saturday along with Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud and former MP Boora Narsaiah Goud. They drank Neera - a sap extracted from various toddy palms at the 'Atmeeya Sanmana Mahostavam' organised by the Gouda community.

The minister said that he drank Neera for the first time and has now become a huge fan of the drink. KT Rama Rao said that Neera will now be offered to the foreign visitors in the state and all the discussions on politics will be held at 'Kallu compounds'.
