Hyderabad: KTR inaugurates first level flyover at Biodiversity junction
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has inaugurated the first level flyover at Biodiversity junction on Thursday.
The 690-metre long and 11.50 wide three-lane unidirectional flyover that is connected from Raidurgam to Mehdipatnam will ease the traffic congestion. The flyover has been built with Rs 30.26 crore under GHMC's strategic road development programme (SRDP). It will ease the traffic moving on Old Mumbai Highway from Gachibowli side to Mehdipatnam side.
With the completion of the flyover, all the structures in the package-4 of SRDP including flyover at Rajiv Gandhi junction, the underpass at Mindspace, a flyover from JNTUH to biodiversity have been completed with the total cost Rs 379 crore.
Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, MP Ranjith Reddy, mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and GHMC commissioner Lokesh Kumar were present at the flyover launching ceremony.
After the inauguration, the minister KT Rama Rao inspected the development of link roads in Serilingampally.
