Hyderabad: Malakpet veterinary hospital to get new building

Malakpet: On the representation of local MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, Government Veterinary Hospital, which was in a dilapidated state, has been sanctioned a new building in Malakpet.

According to Mohammed Saifuddin Shafi, an AIMIM leader, the veterinary hospital near Mehboob Mansion Gunj in old Malakpet was running in a dilapidated structure, around two months ago during a visit of MLA Ahmed Balala along with GHMC and other department officers, he proposed a new building for the vet hospital.

Speaking to The Hans India Saifuddin said that it is one of the oldest vet hospitals in the area and the hospital was in a pathetic state of condition.

The officials were given several representations for the new hospital. During the MLA's visit, he inspected the vet hospital after seeing the condition of hospital he proposed new building to the government officers. On his representation the government sanctioned a total of Rs 40 lakh, he added.

After dismantling the earlier structure, the construction works began in last week and is scheduled to be completed in 2-3 months. Recently, Ahmed Balala and other officers inspected the on-going works and instructed the concerned officials to complete the works on given time.

Currently, the hospital is running in a small portion and after the completion of structure the hospital will be shifted in a new building.
